BIO ART WORKSHOP

In this hands-on workshop students will gain direct bio art experience through a series of exercises, culminating in the production of individual or collaborative artworks. Students will grow cells sampled from their own bodies, extract DNA from other organisms, create images with a bacterial palette, and transform bacteria with GFP (green fluorescent protein) in order to make a luminous living artwork.
