Luc VAN GOOL

Luc VAN GOOL is the member of the Research Institute of Industry, Communication and Service Vision at the University of Leuven, Belgium. He is the Deputy head of Computer Vision Laboratory of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and a European leading role in computer vision technology. With distinguished research results in texture analysis and synthesis, 2D and 3D generic object recognition, multi-view and structured mild 3D reconstruction, visual (mechanical) navigation, tracking and motion analysis, interpretation of visual gestures and emotions that he has achieved,  Luc VAN GOOL has made outstanding contributions in the field of cognition, recognition and response.
