Rem Koolhaas

Rem Koolhaas (born in 1944 in Rotterdam) is the founder of OMA, the architect of CCTV Headquarters. Koolhaas is currently a professor in Harvard University and in charge of urban research projects. Koolhaas leads OMA and AMO (a research studio that is complementary to OMA), working in areas that go beyond architectural practice, covering media, politics, renewable energy and fashion, etc. In 2014, Koolhaas served as Director of the 14th Venice International Architecture Biennale and planned the exhibition entitled “Fundamentals”.
