1982-1983 teaching at China Academy of Art
1988  set up personal design studio to design for Adobe system
1989-1997 Lecturer at Yale University School of Art
1991-1998 Design Manager at Adobe, the world largest image processing company
1998  Design Director at Square Two Design,
1999  Visiting Professor at Shanghai University School of Fine Arts
2001  Art Director for the Beijing Olympics bid,
2003  Dean of CAFA School of Design
           Director of CAFA Art Research Center for the Olympic Games
2003  Director at Beijing Olympic Games Committee responsible for the image and the landscape
